Tear Gas

Tear Gas is a chemical substance that irritates the eyes and mucous membranes with the primary physical effect manifesting in coughing and choking.  Tear Gas is used in a variety of ways such as riot control and to force the surrender of fugitives confined to a structure.

The two main types of Tear Gas are CN and CS.  CN, chloroacetophenone, comes in various forms.

Tear Gas Remediation is a complex, time consuming process. Once the powder is discharged it eventually settles on everything in the room. This very fine white powder, if not removed, will continue to be active for years. The purple / pink colored dye is also extremely active and typically will need to be removed and discarded from anything it touches. We have a tested protocol that we follow to clean the air, surfaces, duct work and contents of a home or business. Once finished with our remediation process the dwelling will be safe and free of the irratants caused by the tear gas.  

We have the knowledge, equipment and proprietary products to remediate an area effected by both CS and CN tear gas.
